Ashok Kapur, a seasoned automobile industry veteran, now ventures into real estate, leading Krisumi Corporation as Chairman. His focus is delivering quality housing, leveraging the trust instilled by the legacy and brand.
As the joint venture of Krishna Group and Fortune 500 Sumitomo Group, Krisumi Corporation Private Limited is his brainchild. With over 47 years of diversified experience, Kapur transitioned Krishna Maruti Limited from auto components to travel, media, entertainment seating, and now real estate.
Kapur’s journey began in family-owned jewelry, transitioning to home furnishing, and then co-founding India’s largest Steering System Company, `Sona Koyo Steering Systems Limited,’ in 1985 alongside his brother Dr. Surinder Kapur. Under his dynamic leadership, the Krishna & SKH Group emerged in 1994, achieving milestones like winning the “Deming Prize” and expanding into new auto component segments through technical collaborations and joint ventures.
Within 12 years, the SKH Group evolved from India’s largest component manufacturer to an industry force under Kapur’s vision.

Mr. Aroon Purie is the founding Chairman & Editor-in-Chief of the India Today Group, India’s most respected and diversified media conglomerate. The Group publishes various magazines, including editions of leading international titles. Its flagship newsweekly, India Today and other Group publications are all market leaders. It also has four leading 24-hour news channels- Aaj Tak, Aaj Tak HD, India Today TV and Good News Today and various digital-first channels.
An alumnus of the London School of Economics and a qualified Chartered Accountant from the UK. Mr. Aroon Purie has served on the Board of many prestigious institutions in India and abroad. He was Chairman of FIPP (The International Federation of the Periodical Press) from 2009 to 2011 and was the first Asian to be given this honour.
He is a Chairman & Whole-time Director of T.V. Today Network Ltd. and is a Chairman of Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and Risk Management Committee of the Company. He also holds directorship in Thomson Press (India) Pvt. Ltd., SKH Metals Ltd., Vibgyor Broadcasting Pvt. Ltd., Krisumi Corporation Private Limited and nominee director on the Board of Indian Broadcasting & Digital Foundation.
A true pioneer, Mr. Aroon Purie has been instrumental in changing the face of journalism in India and was awarded the Padma Bhushan – amongst India’s highest civilian honours – by the President of India in 2001.

Mr. Yuji Kato, an esteemed addition to the Krisumi family, assumes the role of Co-CEO & Director effective from 1st May 2024, bringing with him a wealth of expertise and experience to elevate our organisation to new heights.
A product of Tajimi Kita High School in Gifu, Mr. Kato’s journey towards excellence began with his active participation in basketball and rugby, shaping his character with the values of teamwork and determination. Fuelled by a passion for architecture, he pursued his higher education at the prestigious University of Tokyo, graduating in 1991 and laying the groundwork for a distinguished career ahead.
Mr. Kato commenced his professional voyage with Sumitomo Corporation in 1991, marking the inception of a remarkable journey in the real estate industry. Throughout his tenure, he has been instrumental in spearheading numerous iconic projects, including Decks Tokyo Beach, Queens Square Yokohama, Harumi Triton Square, and Kanda Square. His extensive international exposure, with 5.5 years in Jakarta and another 4 years in New York on assignments, imbues his leadership with a global perspective and invaluable insights.
A testament to his leadership prowess, Mr. Kato has held pivotal roles at Sumitomo Corporation, including General Manager of the Overseas Real Estate Department and the Domestic Office Investment Department. Notably, he holds esteemed national licences as a first-class architect, real estate broker and certified master of real estate securitization, underscoring his deep-rooted expertise and commitment to excellence.
